A Testimony of Faithfulness

Dear Friends, this email is a testimony of what our precious Heavenly Father can do through those who trust Him.

When Denise and I lived in the Philippines, we had the honor of serving with Sis Ruth back in the 1980’s in the Antique mountains. She was reaching areas very remote and dangerous at that time. We were able to help her in establishing new outreaches and training the new believers. When Denise and I moved back to the States, we had not heard from Sis Ruth in many, many years. Last year, unexpectedly, we received a message from Sis Ruth, now 90 years young and still serving Jesus, saying, “Bro Darrell, before I go home to Jesus, I’m praying to build one more church. Would you prayerfully help us?”. Sis Ruth, has been pioneering and planting outreaches for over 50 years. She is one of God’s faithful generals and has given her life for the sake of Jesus and sown into the lives of many.

Her new congregation did not have a facility to meet in and met under the shade trees. Even though the temperature was hot, they would meet to worship. They began to pray, asking the Lord to provide the land and a facility where they could be sheltered from the weather.

The Lord began answering prayers by someone donating land. Pictured is Sis Ruth dedicating the property to the Lord. This is a great testimony to this congregation who are mostly farmers and live modestly.

Because of your faithfulness in giving, funds were sent to start construction! Construction went well despite a few delays due to rain.

Grace Fellowship was built and now the congregation continues to grow and flourish! This picture does not show the entire congregation.

There wasn’t room for the children to meet inside the church for their classes and therefore met outside. They began to pray for a place where they could be shaded from the weather.
Once again the Lord answered their prayer providing a shelter through your giving!

Sis Ruth was concerned for the new believers because they could not afford Hiligaynon Bibles in their dialect. Praise the Lord, through your faithful giving, funds were sent to provide the Bibles!

Sis Ruth and the congregation of Grace Fellowship thank you for your support in making this vision become a reality! It is true, “All things are possible to them who believe”!

This is one testimony of hundreds who have been equipped through your giving. Let us remain focused and be good stewards of what He places in our hands and see the Kingdom of God advance in all the world!
